A car stopped in front of an abandoned garage behind a school. It was almost hidden from view, the only people who would know it exists are the people who cherished it. A man dressed in suit stepped out of the car and sighed as he scanned the place before stepping inside. It was full of dust but it still looks the same when he was still young. The writings on the wall were still legible.
We are shinee!
Kibum is Almightly!
Jinki is obsessed with chicken!
Taemin is our forever maknae!
Minho looks like a frog!
Jonghyun’s nostrils are big. ----> I agree especially the right one! ---> Yah! I can read this!
Friends Forever!
He smiled at the last one. Below it, five human sticks were drawn holding each other’s hands. His smile grew bigger. Memories do fade, but letters and pictures are forever especially when it’s written in paint. He looked around for a seat and found couch at the corner covered in dust. He took off his jacket, threw it on the couch and he sat. He scanned the room and saw some of their properties. There was a box at the corner. He presumes that it contains his 18th birthday candles, Minho’s flat soccer ball, the songs Jonghyun composed and some stuff he can’t find.
He sat there for a long time thinking of how it has been for the past twelve years. He had always been inlove with Jonghyun. From the moment he met him, he knew he felt different. He was always smiling when he’s with him. Jonghyun would always be there to give him a lollipop when he’s sad or crying. Jonghyun have always taken good care of him and he was thankful for that.
After this, he will visit him and thank him for the nth time for his existence.
This man is Lee Taemin.
He stared at the moving cars outside his condo. Everything was fast-tracked, Seoul was a busy city after all. He groaned and drank another glass of tequila. The alcohol has taken over his body but his mind was still focused, a little bit. He was never good when it comes to alcohol, a few glass would always knock him out. But today was different, he was repenting for all his sins.
He drank the last drops when he saw the letter lying beside the bottle. He let his fingers touch the seal, trying to remember where he got it. At the back the name of the receiver was written.
Lee Taemin
It was Taemin’s and he didn’t have the chance to read it. He was too scared to give it to him because the letter would change everything. He was inlove with Taemin and Taemin was inlove with his bestfriend, Jonghyun. Jealousy took over and made him cut ties with Jonghyun. He was young that time and stupid. Tomorrow, he will go to the church. He will have a confession and will receive whatever punishment the priest will give him. And after that, he will say sorry to Jonghyun.
For hating him, for destroying him and for being a worse friend.

“You’re not going to work tomorrow?”
“No”
“Why?”
“’Cause I don’t want to. I’ll pass the articles the day after tomorrow, I’m done with it anyway”
“Okay, you said so. It’s not like I can force you, you never listen to us”
“Just tell Mr. Kim, I won’t be around tomorrow. Bye”
He threw his phone on the table beside him. Things always go the way he wanted it to be and taking a day off is not an excemption. He just came out of shower and was still dripping. He took a towel and dried his hair when his eyes landed on a heart-shaped locket. It was the first gift he bought for Jonghyun thirteen years ago. He smirked at the thought of his name. Jonghyun was his first love and he was the only thing that he didn’t get. He decided that he will pay him a visit tomorrow to see if he’s still coping well.

He listened to the voice message for the eighteenth time. It was the voice of one of his beloved dongsaengs. In his right hand was an old photo of five kids, all smiling and waving at the camera. It’s the picture of him with his friends he had been taking care for almost eighteen years.
I won’t let you get hurt.
He would always reassure them. He was the eldest after all, they were all leaning on him. He has to be strong. But he broke that, he was the first one to give up. He was too scared of what might happen. He was a coward.
