Summary: Dealing with love is a hard thing, but not as hard as falling in love. Eunhyuk and Donghae are just two people who fell in love, and now they have to learn to deal with it. Life as they knew it was theirs. It seemed that they had everything. But with Super Junior M getting in the way of many things, their relationship-their love was dwindling. Problems occurred when Donghae wanted to out their love to the public and to their group. Eunhyuk refused, leading to a terrible fight. And what Donghae does next is unexplainable...even to me...

“Do you have to leave?” Eunhyuk whispered as his voice softly floated through the air. Donghae sat at the end of the bed as he tied his shoes. “Can’t you just stay for the rest of the night?” he hoped with all his heart that his lover would comply.

As soon as Donghae was done lacing up his boots, he then crawled back over Eunhyuk, and without question he pressed his lips so deeply onto his boyfriend’s. Their arms tightly held to each other, and it felt like eternity before they parted. Their lips were flushed red, and with a smile he breathed, “We’ll be together tomorrow night.” Eunhyuk couldn’t tear his eyes away from him as the mere sight of his lover mesmerized him so. He watched Donghae reach for his hand to place a soft kiss upon it. “I love you, Eunhyuk,” he said ever so sweetly.

The other boy bit his lower lip as he felt deeply nervous; almost too nervous to answer, “-I love you too, Donghae,” when their bodies parted permanently, chills ran through Donghae as he had no desire to leave, but he had to. The door opened, and as he stepped out, he mouthed the words once more, “I love you,” there wasn’t a sound that escaped from him, and he was then gone. Neither of them fell asleep right away as they stayed up half the night thinking about each other. It was nearly thirty minutes past 2am when they parted.

When the morning sun shined its piercing bright light upon the waking world, the majority of Super Junior still slept-and it was the first time in a long time that they were able to sleep in. The first member that rose from the grave was Sungmin. His squinting eyes eased as they became used to the light. Kyuhyun wasn’t far behind before he made it to the kitchen.

“Good morning,” smiled the younger boy as he seemed to be wide awake. He then poured him some instant coffee, and set the kettle on.

“I don’t even know why I’m up.” said Sungmin as he sat down at the table. His dark red robe hung open and his hair was nappy.

“-then go back to bed,” giggled Kyuhyun as he now took his seat next to him.

Sungmin snarled, “I wish I could, but every time I sleep in my heart starts pumping in my chest telling me to get up, get up, get up; it drives me insane.”

“I don’t get it,” Kyuhyun said as his eyebrows lowered above his eyes.

“Never mind; hey, I think your water’s done boiling,” the sleepy Sungmin said as he pointed behind him.

“Thanks,”

As the youngest of the group fetched his coffee, the other sat demobilized. He nearly fell back asleep before Kyuhyun bopped him on the head. The older boy shot daggers from his eyes, and he couldn’t really say much except for a nice flash of his long skinny finger.

“So, what’s on the “to do” list for today?” Kyuhyun asked after he sipped from the deliciously hot coffee. He noticed Sungmin’s heavy eyes looked slowly towards him.

“-oh, the usual.” He said to him, “I have to do this thing with some group today…I can’t remember at the moment,”

Kyuhyun nodded his head and thought to himself; he wondered why he was in such a good mood, but before he could fully explain it, Sungmin bounces back with a surprising question of his own.

“So, how’s the “Eunhae” situation coming along?” he then stood to get himself some coffee.

Kyuhyun couldn’t really believe that Sungmin showed any interest in their relationship whatsoever, but how could he not? They are his brothers. His very, very gay brothers.

“Well, it’s a bit shaky,” the youngest nodded.

“Yeah, I heard about that fight yesterday.” Sungmin yawned as he poured the steaming water in his mug. “How did that pan out? I didn’t see either of them so fill me in,”

Kyuhyun smiled; he felt as if Sungmin truly did care about the wellbeing of their fellow members. “Okay,” he glanced behind and around himself to make sure no one was listening in. “Siwon was there the entire time. He told me that Eunhyuk thought Donghae told Leeteuk about their relationship, so Eunhyuk blows up about it. Oh, and Jungsu told me that he cried on their way to SM.” It sounded as though he was gossiping, but he really meant well.

Sungmin was shocked, “It was that bad? That’s not good,” he then took a small slurpy sip of his hot morning beverage. “Are they okay now?”

“Yeah, by the end of the day it almost seemed as if nothing happened between them,”

“So, if finding out that Jungsu knows made Eunhyuk react like that, then he can never find out that we know,”

“Exactly,”

They were both quiet for a few more seconds.

“Just because I’m asking about them doesn’t mean that I’m cool with this whole thing,” Sungmin said; he looked pretty true to his word, but Kyuhyun saw straight through him.

“Look, you’re not fooling anyone.” Kyuhyun replied in a deep tone. “I know you think that because Eunhyuk and Donghae are dating means that this basically opens up the door for you to come out….as well,”

Sungmin looked at him with a strange face, “Are you insinuating something?”

Kyuhyun laughed, “Oh, come on! If anybody outside this group thinks anyone of us is gay that honor goes to you,”

“Really? You want to say this to me? Are you sure? At nine fucking am, you want to ruin my day already with…”

“Huh, Sungmin, first of all, I’m kidding. Second, judging by your reaction, my accusations probably aren’t far from the truth, and thirdly, you need to get over yourself and embrace the fact that our friends love each other,”

“Who what each other?” asked a rather giant boy who walked from the shining shadows of the morning.

“Kangin,” Kyuhyun sounded very surprised, “I thought you were still sleeping,” he hoped he didn’t fully hear their conversation. All the while, Sungmin sat with an annoyed expression death glaring it back at Kyuhyun.

“I’m so used to getting up so early it’s a habit now,” said the sleepy boy as he looked through the fridge for something to eat.

“Well, I’m supposed to meet suju m for practice in like an hour,” Kyuhyun glanced at his watch, and he then stood. “So, I better get ready,” he was halfway to his room when he heard Sungmin call for him.

The other boy caught up, and they both entered their room, “It’s not like I don’t understand. Eunhyuk and Donghae are very close to me. Knowing that they’re together doesn’t make me hate them. It just bothers me,”

Kyuhyun knew how he felt like for he’s been down that very long road, “I know, I was there, but I got over it and so should you,” he said as his hand patted the other’s shoulder.

“Okay, fine.” Sungmin said as he folded his arms, “Maybe I should talk with them,”

Kyuhyun felt like his body wanted to explode at the horrendous idea that Sungmin threw at him, “Are you insane?!”

“I wouldn’t tell them that I know. I’m not an idiot, Kyuhyun. I should probably spend more time with them is all I’m saying,”

“Maybe you should; even though that’s not how my phobia was cured, but whatever works for you,” he smiled as he walked towards the door.

Expecting Sungmin to walk through it, he instead stood there. With great hesitation, he then asked, “Do you really think I’m gay?” he looked more worried than ever.

It didn’t take Kyuhyun long at all to come up with a very sarcastic answer, “Um, yeah,”

Sungmin shook his head, “Prick,” he then walked out of the door.

“Oh, I’m sorry, Sungmin, we could make out if it’ll make you feel better,” he said kind of loudly, but instead of a reaction from Sungmin, there came a loud, “Gross!” from none other than Kangin. He laughed at his horrible joke, and got dressed for practice.

Down at the other apartment, the majority of the members were up and about. Jungsu was sitting on his bed as he slipped on his shoes. He looked across the room at the snoring Donghae and smiled.

“Get up, Donghae, or you’ll be late,” he told him as he looked at his watch. The other boy just moved slightly, but didn’t make any effort to obey his friend.

“C’mon, you don’t want to be late. Eunji told me he has a special work out session planned for you. I don’t want to find out what he’d do if you show up late; especially since you’re already in trouble,” he said as he jerked his pillow from underneath the sleeping boy’s head and rather painfully hit him across it.

“Owe! What the fuck, man?”

“Oh, you like that?” Jungsu giggled and hit him twice over.

“Okay! I’m up. Jeez!” he sounded a bit cross and cranky. “You didn’t have to hit me,” he said as he sat up.

“Yeah, I did. Today, I’m gonna be putting my neck on the line for you and Eunhyuk. Somehow, I have to convince three people to let him have the night off just so the two of you could spend it together,” he vented as he brushed his hair. “I hope you’ll have the heart to tell Hyukjae if this plan doesn’t work,”

Donghae pouted as the leader’s scolding was not how he wanted to begin his day. He really didn’t want to go to practice, but he really hoped that whatever Jungsu had tucked up his sleeve works. Wiping his eyes, he then stood to his feet. “Move,” he told his friend as he went for their chest of drawers. He pulled out clean work out close, and started to get dressed.

“I’ll let you know if they won’t let him take off,” said the leader as he pulled his jacket’s sleeve up his arm.

“I don’t see why I have to tell him when you’re gonna be with him all day while I’m off at boot camp,” Donghae protested.

Leeteuk didn’t utter a word, and instead he walked out the room. Donghae shook his head with annoyance, and continued to get dressed.

As he did so, Jungsu made his way across the hall and into Shindong’s room. “You got a minute?” he asked as he knocked.

“Yeah, what’s up?” said the round dancer. He smiled sweetly with anticipation of what he had to say to him.

“Um, do you think you could fill in Hyukjae tonight? He might not be able to make it,”

Shindong saw no problem with that, “Sure, I’ll do it. What’s wrong with Eunhyuk?”

Jungsu suddenly found himself in a hole, “Um-he just has other plans,”

“Plans? That’s the reason for me filling in for him?”

“I guess?”

“I have no problem, but I don’t think he’ll be able to get off that easily,”

“Yeah, well, I’ll catch you later,” he then waved and was then out of the room. The first part was fixed, and he was glad that Shindong agreed. Now all that’s left are the managers, and it worried him to come up with an excuse.

Suddenly, Donghae walked by. He held his gym bag over his shoulder. With no hurry he slowly walked passed him.

“Have a good practice,” the leader said knowing otherwise.

“I doubt that entirely,” snarled the younger dancer, and he was then gone.

Down at the lobby, he met with Kyuhyun and Hankyung. People buzzed around him as they hurried off to work. It was rather noisy, and all Donghae thought about was sleep.

“I think Siwon left already,” said Hankyung in his broken up Korean. “You guys can ride with me if you want,” he smiled.

“Then we’ll have to wait on Ryeowook,” Kyuhyun stated. His eyes then veered towards the approaching Donghae whose head was down as he looked upon his phone. “What’s up, Donghae,” he grinned.

“I don’t want to go; that’s what’s up,” he looked cranky.

“It’s only an hour’s practice,”

“Hey, here comes Ryeowook, get your shit and lets go,” Hankyung said. He then tucked away his iPod and pulled down his sunshades. As the four of them walked outside they were hit by a surprising gust of warm air.

“God, it almost feels summer out here,” said Ryeowook as they all got into the fairly large vehicle.

They all sat comfortably, and soon they were on the road. Donghae’s ears were plugged up with loud music playing. They were love songs; something he can’t seem to stop listening to. His mind instantly thought of Eunhyuk, but quickly did he think about their night to come. He had to make some sort of plan if they were going to be together, though, it didn’t take him much time to come up with one.

It seemed as though they made it there in good time. The traffic wasn’t too bad, and Hankyung wasn’t shy with the speed limit. As they all one by one entered the vast room, they saw Siwon and Zhou Mi talking in the corner as they stretched their legs. Ryeowook and Donghae sat down on the bench while the other’s felt more sociable. Right then, their instructor walked in and the grilling began. Having to go over a dance they learned just the day before was not an easy task. Everybody kept messing up, and they began to take it out on each other. Siwon was the only one that didn’t hiss at someone just because their instructor yelled, “STOP!”

“Guys, calm down. You have exactly one month to get this right. It’s not like you have to show the world this dance tomorrow,” Eunji, who was also getting frustrated, said in a calming voice. He then called, “Donghae, come here,”

“Shit, here it comes,” he said to himself as he walked over to him.

“Look, I know you’d rather be at home in bed, but you have to cut it out with the attitude. So what if this dance is hard, or whatever else is in that brain of yours that’s keeping you from focusing, block it out and do your best, because if you don’t then it’s your embarrassment not mine,” he said in a low and private voice, “Now, get back out there and show me what your made of,”

Donghae nodded and was surprised and relieved that he didn’t make him run laps around the room. As they got in formation again, they nailed the next minute of the dance routine.

“Yes! Okay, now we can move on!” their instructor said loudly and with full excitement. For once that day, Donghae felt proud of himself, and it definitely excited him for the night to come.

The first thing that Eunhyuk did that day was going shopping with his sister. He found it boring without company and he’d rather someone that understood him the most.

Her tiny voice echoed in the small store, “Hyukjae, come look at these,” her brother walked towards her and he saw in her hands a shirt.

“Don’t you think that’s a little too nice?” he said as he felt very unsure of how to dress for that coming evening.

“Maybe you’re right. Let’s keep looking then,” they then roamed around.

“I’m really happy you came today,” he smiled.

“No problem, little bro,” she smiled happily. “But what is the reason you drug me out here anyways?”

Eunhyuk shrugged, “Well, tonight I have a date and I want to make sure I wear the right thing.”

His sister smiled greatly, “Oh, hey, how is Donghae? I’ve been meaning to call him. Have you two been at it since mom and dads?” she was bold to ask.

Eunhyuk found himself blushing, “For your information…of course,” he smiled, “-and we’re planning on it tonight, and I need to find something sexy.”

“Well, by the looks of it you’re not really gonna find anything like that here,” she then went for the door leaving Eunhyuk who gazed at some jeans that he actually liked.

“Hey, wait up,” he then caught up with her, and they walked side by side.

“Sorry I didn’t call you back the other night. I had to deal with some stuff,” Sora said as she nudged her brother a little.

“That’s okay, I only needed to talk to you,” Eunhyuk’s tone was very much unserious.

“I’m here now. What was it you wanted to talk to me about?” she smiled.

“Oh, nothing, just that me and Donghae had a fight,” he was over it, but it still bothered him.

“Hyukjae, what do you mean you two had a fight?!” she was shocked, and it sounded as though she was scolding him for it.

“Well, I really don’t want to talk about it, but we weren’t on the same page. We spent the whole day together, and that’s very rare in the world of Korean fame, and you would think it’d ended perfect.”

“What happened?”

“Donghae pissed me off because he wouldn’t listen to me,”

“About what?”

“I’ll tell you later when we’re not around people,” her brother said strictly. He wasn’t about to tell her about his episode that day before because he knew how she’d worry about them.

“So, what are you guys gonna do tonight anyway,”

“Dinner and time after that,” he grinned.

“Sweet; I hope everything goes well for you,”

“Why wouldn’t it?” Eunhyuk asked.

“I don’t know.”

They didn’t linger on the matter, and instead they shopped. It seemed as though they hadn’t seen each other in so long, and all they did was catch up. Sora wanted to know everything there was to know about him and Donghae; even though her brother was a bit reluctant to tell, he felt comfortable.

“So, what’s the real plan for tonight?” his sister asked.

Eunhyuk looked towards her, “Come to think of it I have no idea. I don’t even know if we’ll be able to go,” he suddenly thought realistically.

His sister was bothered by his attitude, “Date nights are important in relationships. And why do you think you wouldn’t be able to go?”

“Well, Jungsu has to come up with some lie in order for me to not host kiss the radio tonight and chances are it won’t work,” he stuffed his hands in his pockets.

“Don’t be so negative. Be positive. Watch, the two of you will have the best night of your lives.”

Eunhyuk did what his sister told him. He began to look on the brighter side, “I hope so,”

After a few more stores and two shirts later, they were headed straight for the door. Since it was mid-day, everyone was at school or at work. Eunhyuk enjoyed his time with his sister, and he hated to see her go. With a hug and a kiss, she then told him, “Don’t underestimate Donghae’s love for you,” her voice was serious, “Be good to him, okay, because he’d pull down the moon for you,”

Eunhyuk nodded as he was feeling bad about how he’s been treating him, “Thanks, Sora.”

“No problem; good luck tonight,” she said as she waved. Eunhyuk waved back and they both parted.

Traffic was not easy as he drove back to the dorms. It seemed as though everyone got in his way on purpose, and it only pissed him off. Checking the time he was now running late. He and Leeteuk are to meet for lunch; even though he didn’t really want to go.

He unlocked the door, and as he set his keys on their rightful hook he closed it. Taking off his hat, he then walked further into the apartment. He could hear a voice from afar, and it wasn’t until he drew closer did he realize it was Lee talking to one of their managers about the arrangement that night. The leader saw Eunhyuk from the corner of his eye as he walked around the living room.

“Yes, I know, sir, but this came up at the last second and I’ve already convinced Shindong to fill in for him.” By the look on his face, Eunhyuk knew that the manager was leaning towards saying no.

“Please, it’s only for tonight. He has a replacement all ready for him.” He had to admit that Jungsu had really good persuasion skills. But as time went by, the young dancer’s heart raced as he began to think his luck ran out. He just knew this was too good to be true, but all of a sudden he saw a smile form upon his leader’s face.

“Thank you sir,” he said, “We won’t let you down,” he then hung up, and seconds later turned towards his friend. It only took him a nod to excite Eunhyuk.

“Are you serious?! It worked?!” he couldn’t believe it.

“Yeah, I can’t believe I pulled it off,” he was very proud of himself.

Eunhyuk embraced him tightly, “Words can’t explain how much this means to me,”

Leeteuk hugged him back, “I think I can imagine,” he smiled.

Letting go of him, he then collapsed on the couch as he said, “God, I can’t believe this! I can’t believe we’re finally gonna be together! Alone!”

Lee could see how much his good deed meant to him, and it made him feel all good and warm inside. “I’m really glad I could help you guys out,”

“You did more than help. Donghae and I barely see each other and now we have an entire night to ourselves. This is a dream come true.”

Leeteuk sat next to him, “How about we go celebrate. I feel like murdering a cheeseburger.” He giggled. They both stood to their feet, and walked out the door.

Donghae wasn’t far from the truth when he said that their practice session was like boot camp. It seemed every muscle in his body ached as he struggled to move his legs properly to walk. Slowly and like an old man, he sat down on the bench. Resting his back, he then softly uttered his voice as Siwon sat next to him.

“Do you have the time? I can’t seem to move my arms,”

Siwon let out a laugh, but stopped forcefully after his sore abs throbbed with pain.

Donghae slowly shook his head, “Never mind.”

Suddenly, their dance choreographer, Eunji, walked by them; obnoxiously clapping his hands together he then loudly said, “You guys did awesome today,”

Donghae felt he had to contradict otherwise, “But what about the part when we all fainted from your army-like way of training?” he really didn’t know how to help himself.

Eunji squatted down in front of him, “So, you like that? Because of your mouth I just moved Saturday’s practice to tomorrow,” he smiled evilly.

There were groans coming from all the members around the room. Siwon punched Donghae’s arm while the other’s cursed at him.

“You and your big mouth,” Ryeowook hissed as he pulled his jacket over his head.

Donghae flicked him off when he looked away.

“Okay, let’s not ruin a perfectly good practice. Be here tomorrow at 3pm. If you’re late you’ll run laps, is that clear?”

Everyone nodded and agreed except for Donghae. His mind was filled with more important things than worry about what time practice was or whether or not Eunji punishes him; it didn’t matter at the moment. By the time everyone got their things together, their superiors had already left. Ryeowook and Hankyung left just moments before Donghae and the rest of the gang made it out of the room. Siwon’s arms rested on Donghae and Henry’s shoulders as they walked down the hallway. Even though they were secretly angry with the trouble maker, they all somehow laughed at random jokes and happily conversed with each other. Henry went his own way followed by Kyuhyun and Zhou Mi. Siwon and Donghae were left alone.

“So, have you heard from Eunhyuk?” Siwon asked casually as they opened their car doors.

Donghae shook his head, “Not yet. Before I left this morning, Jungsu was bitching to me about how I have to tell Eunhyuk the bad news if the managers reject his request.”

“Do you think they will?” Siwon asked as he put his key in his car.

The other boy shrugged, “Maybe,” he was completely unsure. “I don’t know. I hope not,” he held his head down.

The two exhausted boys sat silently next to one another, but before too much time passed, Donghae’s phone began to ring. The vibration massaged his leg and he almost hated to take it out of his pocket. His face lit up when he noticed that it was Eunhyuk.

“Hey, what’s up?” he asked as he tried to sound perky.

“Donghae, I don’t have to work tonight!” his voice burst with uncontrollable excitement.

Donghae nearly wanted to hyperventilate, “That’s the best news I’ve ever heard,” he happily laughed.

“Yeah, ooh-Donghae I love you,” the other boy knew he meant that statement.

Donghae held his hand to his head as he couldn’t believe it, “I love you too, baby,”

“I can’t wait to see you,”

“Where are you?” Donghae asked.

“I’m with Jungsu right now,”

“Eun, tonight is our night,”

The other giggled sweetly, “I know. I’ll see you when you get back.”

“Bye,”

As soon as he hung up, Siwon smiles, “So, Jungsu’s plan worked after all,”

“Yeah, man, he’s really sticking out for us,” he answered.

Siwon was glad for him and Eunhyuk. He knew it would take off a lot of stress they’d been experiencing, “I’m really surprised he did this for you. The whole night you have together. So, are you gonna check into a hotel?”

Donghae blushed slightly as he held his head down with laughter, “Um, no. I think I have a way better idea than that.”

“Oh, yeah, what’s that?” Siwon glanced with interest at his giggling happy friend.

Donghae hesitated at first, but he relented as he longed for a second opinion. “Remember the field way out in the country that I used to go to let off steam back when my dad died?”

“Yeah,” the younger boy nodded.

“Well, I was thinking that maybe I could take Eunhyuk there,” he slightly squinted his eyes as he hoped that Siwon didn’t think ill of his idea.

“Wow, that--,” he stopped to think, “Very romantic,” he said with a slow slur.

“You like it?”

“Of course I do. No one will bother you for miles. Hyukjae will love it,” he smiled.

“I’m glad you think so. I just hope Eunhyuk will agree to it.” he leaned his head back on the seat.

“Don’t tell him,” Siwon said bluntly.

“What?”

“Make it a surprise,”

Donghae laughed, “Driving him nearly an hour’s drive out of the city won’t make him suspicious?”

“He won’t know what you have in store for him.”

Donghae slowly nodded, “Okay, I’ll do that.” He then felt his body tense up, “Just thinking about it is really making me excited,” he couldn’t almost control himself.

“Easy there, tiger.”

As Donghae laughed he slammed his hand upon the other’s shoulder. He felt embarrassed, but he was happy Siwon was there for him, and he’ll always be there no matter what. When they finally made it home no one was around. It seemed that everybody has been mysteriously kidnapped, but there was no ransom note anywhere. Donghae set his gym bag down by his bed when Siwon poked his head in, “Do you want to get something eat?” he asked.

But Donghae declined, “Nah, I’m gonna wait for when Eunhyuk gets back,” he smiled.

“Alright,” Siwon was headed out, but stopped to ask, “Do you want me to bring you something back?”

“Um, yeah. Whatever you find will be good,”
“Okidoki,” And he then disappeared. The place was completely empty. There wasn’t a moment when Donghae didn’t think about Eunhyuk; how he longed for his touch, and he could hardly wait for him. He simply wondered what he was doing at that very moment, and he wished he could be there with him. Seeing this time as a reprieve from all the stress and all the attention, he then waited-for the person he loves most.
