Lee Donghae stomped his feet and grunted.
‘Argh. You-you-you just WAIT!! I’m gonna get you for this!!’ He pointed at Eunhyuk like a six year-old child and walked away furiously.
Eunhyuk blinked his eyes a few times. ‘Pffft, how childish.’ He thought.
After Donghae had left, his friends behind him stopped laughing. Clearly, they were just doing that to annoy their friend, Lee Donghae.
‘Wow. THAT was awesome, dude. Nobody had ever stood up to Donghae-hyung like that.’ The tall one looked at Eunhyuk in awe.
‘He must be really mad, storming off like that.’ Eunhyuk pointed out.
‘Nah, don’t worry about it. He’s always like that, losing his temper on students he barely knows. Crazy brat. Sometimes I wonder why I’m even friends with him in the first place.’ The tall guy shook his head repeatedly.
‘Oh, anyway...you said your name was Lee Hyukjae, right? I’m Choi Siwon.’
‘Nice to meet you, Siwon. I told you, you can just call me Eunhyuk.’ Eunhyuk flashed him his cute gummy smile.
Siwon smiled in return. ‘ Right. Sorry. Nice to meet you too, Eunhyuk.’
The boy who was previously busy playing with his PSP suddenly cleared his throat.
‘Ehem. Aren’t you forgetting something here?’ He turned to Siwon.
‘Oh, yeah. Eunhyuk, this is my friend, Cho Kyuhyun. He’s a junior here.’
‘Hello, Kyuhyun.’ He offered his hand for a handshake and Kyuhyun happily returned his offer. It was really rare for the students there to meet new students as the school was private and limited to the chosen ones only. And now, finally a new student enrolled and Siwon and Kyuhyun really found it interesting.
‘So, you’re new here, huh?’ Siwon asked.
‘Yeah, I just moved. But I’m kinda nervous. Everyone here’s really different from my old school. I think I might be out of place here.’ Eunhyuk said with a shrug.
‘What are you talking about? You fit in just right. In fact, I think you’re pretty cute. Right, Kyu?’ Siwon tilted his head, asking his friend.
Kyuhyun, who was now absorbed in his game again, just nodded willingly.
Eunhyuk blushed slightly. That was the first time anybody ever called him cute. Siwon grinned. He never knew a boy could blush like that.
‘Hyung, we should probably go now. Don’t wanna be late for class.’ Kyuhyun finally looked up from his PSP and pointed at his watch for Siwon to see.
Siwon nodded slightly. He was mesmerized by the sight in front of him. He only realized after seeing Eunhyuk blushed, how could a boy be so……..beautiful?
‘I’ll uhh….see you around, Eunhyuk. Bye.’ He waved slightly and walked away with his friend, Kyuhyun.
Eunhyuk smiled to himself. Finally, he gained a new friend. Maybe this day wouldn’t be so bad after all.

Eunhyuk went to the school office to ask about the confusion of his locker.Turns out, they had given him the wrong locker number. The school staff apologized for their clumsiness. Eunhyuk just bowed slightly and said it was okay. Now he knows why Lee Donghae was so mad. He had banged his locker numerous times like a mad man. No wonder Donghae nearly went out of his mind. But still, that doesn’t give the excuse for Donghae to act like a total jerk and screamed at him in front of everyone. ‘Argh, that asshole. I really hate him.’ Eunhyuk muttered to himself.
Not wasting any time longer, Eunhyuk quickly headed to his scheduled class. According to his timetable, he’s supposed to have his Algebra lesson right now. Eunhyuk grinned to himself. He LOVED Algebra. It was his favourite subject of all time. In fact, his amazing skills and knowledge in that particular subject was the main reason he landed himself that scholarship.
He stopped his tracks when he saw the sign Room 712. Yup, this is his class, he confirmed himself by checking the timetable again. Straightening his tie and taking a long deep breath, he finally opened the door and stepped in to the class.
The whole class immediately stopped what they were doing previously and turned their attention to the stranger that just walked in. Eunhyuk gulped, tried not to meet anyone’s eyes in the classroom. He could feel them watching him like an eagle spying on its prey. He looked up and saw the teacher in front of his desk, smiling brightly at him.
‘Ahh…you must be the new student, Lee Hyukjae. Come on in.’ The teacher put his hands together, excitement shown on his face due to Eunhyuk’s presence.
Eunhyuk made his way slowly to the teacher in front of the class. He stood beside him as he gestured to.
‘You know, I’ve heard a lot about you. You’re quite famous in the teachers’ lounge room. Well, it’s not a common thing that a normal student lands a scholarship to this school. You must be one hell of a student.’ He chuckled, patting Eunhyuk’s shoulder.
Eunhyuk blushed furiously and just smiled in return. He was not used to being praised publicly like that. The students in the classroom made a commotion after they saw him blushed. The girls, especially, were fangirl-ing like crazy puppies.
‘Omo. Did you see that? He just blushed!’ one of the girls cried out.
‘OMG. So cute. I want him!’ the other said.
‘No, he’s mine. Back off!’ another girl pointed out.
Eunhyuk widened his eyes. Wow. The students here are definitely….different. He could tell all of them were rich, spoiled brats who just lived off their parents’ money.
The teacher raised his hand, gesturing the students to keep quiet.
‘Ok, ok. That’s enough. Behave students, I’m sure there will be plenty of time to get to know this new student. But for now please concentrate on your work that I’ve given.’
Th other students grunted loudly in disapproval. The teacher just shook his head, obviously he was used to their behaviour.
He then turned to Eunhyuk and smiled again. ‘I’m Mr. Kibum. I’ll be your Algebra teacher from now on. I look forward to teaching you. You can take a seat, Eunhyuk.’ He said, in a cheerful tone.
Eunhyuk nodded and eyed around the classroom. All of the seats were taken except for the one at the back where….OH MY GOD. To his utter astonishment, the only seat available was beside the one and only Lee Donghae….
