Once again, over the Memorial Day weekend, I flew on JetBlue to Ontario, CA to participate in a meeting at Highland Springs Resort in Beaumont, CA. Frequent readers of this LJ will know what this means: free TV courtesy of JetBlue and DirecTV.
After checking ESPN (boxing = boring), ESPN2 (poker = maybe some other time), Food Network (random stuff I wasn't interested in watching), and BBC America (more stuff I wasn't interested in), I finally hit paydirt on GSN. (The Game Show Network, or whatever it's called these days.)
They were showing a celebrity edition of American The Weakest Link. The list of contestants included: Dennis Somebody (I don't know who he was, and I didn't catch his last name since I didn't watch it from the beginning), Erin Gray (still a hottie), Ed Begley, Jr. (still a git, and he ended up winning, too), Vicki Lawrence (still funny, though she spent more time laughing at other people's jokes than cracking her own), Davy Jones (I'm not sure but he looked shorter than ...), Raven, and Dirk Benedict (looks the same as he ever has). I felt like I'd died and gone to 80s TV Heaven.
Update:
IMDB says it was Dennis Weaver. He managed to crack a few jokes, some at Anne Robinson's expense, that I laughed at. Oh, and it looks like I missed Nichelle Nichols getting voted off.
Update2: Raven is a 1/2-inch shorter than Davy Jones.
