Everything is fucked.
I solved a problem when we first started,
and it pops up again now that we're almost done.
I've checked over and over,
its the samething with a different
answer that I don't see.
I hear everything that you're saying
twice -- an echo in the static
Sandwiched between kHz and audiophiles.
This is an ode to Cubase! Problems have just crept up and I don't know how to fix 'em. Been working on it for the last few hours. Turns out that Soundblaster sound cards don't work so well with Cubase (esp if you want to use VSTi's). So, I was trying to kill the amount of latency on my computer, but it wasn't working. Thought I'd try to update my drivers and that's when my problems started. I'll try re-installing the old ones, but I don't think those will work. And I'm too pissed off right now to try. I was looking at pro-audio cards that would work better... the cheapest one would cost about $100 -- not bad, considering that i was looking at a $200 SB... I can buy a really nice one for $200, so I might look into that later. I just hope that i can get this damned thing working again so we can finish recording Phase 7.
