This is for Brian... keep hoping, maybe you'll see something cool like this some day:

SALISBURY, Md.

A 20-year-old was found by a Wal-Mart employee in the bathroom Sunday night after he sat down and was glued to the toilet seat.

The man, whose name was not released by police, was taken to the hospital late Sunday night, said Lt. Cheryl Rantz of the Salisbury Police Department.

"The man had gone into the bathroom and sat down," she said. "He was banging on the wall when the employee came in."

Rantz said the man was treated and released.

So, when I go to coffee shops, I'll read, but most of all, I'll jsut sit and look at the trees and think. Today I was thinking about religion. I think religion is a distraction nowadays. Does God exist? Is it a boy or a girl? what's its name -- Jehovah, Allah, Shiva, Krishna, The Goddess Mother? None of this really matters. If God exists, then the rules are spelled out clearly in every religion: treat people better than we currently are. If there is no God, then we don't have to treat people better, but why would we want to treat anyone poorly?

I overheard some people talking... well, bashing Christianity today and all I could say (think) about it was "These people should just sit back and look at the wind going through the trees. They should take the time to feel the sun on their skin. To taste their coffee." When I notice these things, I have a religious experience. It's why I can't commit to Atheism, I feel that there is a God when we take time to notice It. But I haven't experienced anything to make me *know* that a God exists, either. I guess in addition so Agnosticism, I'm also a Pantheist -- a person who takes pieces from different cultures to form one cohesive understanding of the world.

Life's pretty tough if we only have the basics to worry about: food, shelter, water, and companionship. But we add a lot more to this list until life becomes unbearable. We treat each other like crap for some of the silliest shit... how many fist fights have been started because someone stole a parking spot during Christmas? I'm not above any of this by any means; i would love to have a better computer -- the quad processor Macs with Bootcamp *drool!*, a motorcycle, a Tempurpedic matress (damn you Langen!), and a lot of other crap that would just complicate my life. And this leads back to my post on desire from a few months ago.

Today, I had a sudden understanding of everything in the world and all i could do is smile and hope someone else did too.
