I am in Georgia, with Jessica... and my sister... and my father.(..And your mom! [ohhh!])

We (I) drove up here yesterday, starting off from mt house on a quarter tank of gas. One eight mile line, seven empty gas stations and several hours and many miles later we managed a full tank... then got lost for an extra couple of hours thanks to Wilma's dislike of road signs. Appearently the sign for the exit from the turnpike to I-95 was removed only to be replaced by the remenants of the previous missing exit sign, which didn't matter much considering its horizontal orientation. We'll be up here at least until Sunday visiting with my Aunt, Uncle and Father. My mother, who decided to stay behind, informed us, as we were stranded in Stuart at a gas station waiting for a phantom tanker that appears once a month in search of its former driver and a place to dump its fuel, that we have power back at the house I left several hours earlier. The damage was minimal (no more fences, one tree down, three roof tiles), but we did better than most. I'll update more back at home, I'm enjoying myself in the more redneck area of the world.
