Nature Herself

Night before last while I was driving home, I saw a coyote on the road. Swear to god, a real-life coyote walking across Centerville. I felt sorry for it, though. It was walking toward the water treatment facility and the little lake behind it, and with the smell that place puts off, I wouldn't touch any actual water that lays anywhere near it. It was a fairly pungent evening, at that.

And today was fun at work. The wind was blowing so strongly it actually knocked down some power lines or sommat; the power at work kept flickering, and when I drove home the first two major intersections had lights blinking red. It was great. We had to leave our merchandise pick-up doors locked all day because the wind kept knocking ceiling tiles off when the doors opened. Actually had a light cover fall down, too. :-D
