My credit limit was increased by the bank so of course the first thing I do is dig myself into deeper debt (crushing debt) by buying more nail polish. It's not going to make much of a difference in the long run. Or the short.

Actually, I only really went for it because KBshimmer was having a 20% off sale, and they don't do sales often. I bought some cremes and a new bottle of top coat. I hear their top coat is pretty nice, especially for glitter (which makes sense seeing that's their specialty) so seeing as how I was placing an order anyway... I also needed a black creme that didn't come with a shitty brush (wet n wild) or was goopy (sinful colors). Also got bright coral pink and a canary yellow that is just beautiful. Also got Vicious Circles (red crelly with silver glitter) and I Got a Crush on Blue (basically a blue version). Ugh, I love their glitter bombs so much.

Then I went and got A England's Burne-Jones Dream collection because they were all too amazing and I didn't want to just get part of it. I don't usually buy whole collections because I invariably am uninterested in one shade or another. But it's also a relatively small collection with only 5 polishes so that helps. I think like half of A England's polishes are some variation of mauve. The Gothic Beauties collection is pretty attractive too, but I was way too tempted by Briarwood. It's pretty much my favorite color in the whole world.

Am I the only person who hates glitter toppers? I especially hate large, matte glitter toppers so basically it just sits on top looking all matte and shit. I'm like some kind of jelly sandwich crusader or something. Holographic toppers can be acceptable I suppose, if the pieces are small. But I hate black and white glitter. Especially together.

And I still hate bar glitter. I fucking hate large bars. It looks stupid as shit. Matte bars are the absolute worst. Small or microslice bars are the only ones that I'll accept. Maybe a large holographic bar can be used well but I haven't seen it yet. Only large matte bars. Puking.

I'm thinking I want to try making my own polish. None of that "put some eyeshadow in a bottle of topcoat" bullshit or mixing existing shades (combining different bases? I'm a little wary). I think it's a thing these days because there are a number of stores that sell pigment and bases. I like making stuff.

I don't know why I like nail polish so much.
