I went in for my c-section on April 6th at 5:30 a.m. I had more blood drawn to make sure that my platelets were where they were supposed to be so that I could have a spinal. Just thought I would post a quick update, it will be the last one before the boys are born. I have actually made it to 37 weeks which is a miracle somehow. I didn't think that I could do it but somehow my body surprised me. I go in on Monday at 5:30 a.m. to get my blood work done and then the surgery is scheduled for 7:30 a..m. Ok, quick update. I have been rather busy with the doctors and hospital so I haven't had too much time to update. I went into the hospital on Sunday afternoon due to massive swelling in my legs and feet. When I say massive, I feel like the state puff marshmallow man, or woman. Well, I went back to labor and delivery yesterday, Sunday. I had been having contractions about every 5-7 minutes apart since Saturday night and they got worse after I went for a mile walk. So I went to the doctor again today. I am now measuring 44 weeks pregnant. No wonder I am so miserable. I am bigger than most women get throughout their entire pregnancy. So time for another update. I went to the doctor's on Tuesday. Their heartbeats are both around 140-150. I am measuring 42 weeks pregnant and everything looks good. So I had a fun and exciting evening last night. Went to Sam's to get a couple of things and when I got back home, I started cramping and contracting. I can't believe this is going by so fast. It seems like yesterday that I found out that we are having twins and now I am counting down the days until they get here. I went to the doctor last week to get a check up and get in the system so that way in case of emergency, I have seen someone at the hospital.
