(no subject)
Haven't updated in awhile here. It's not that nothing has happened. I've actually been quite busy, but ultimately, I just haven't felt like writing a whole lot recently. I don't know, maybe I'm just tired of the livejournal thing (for those reading on facebook, this is imported from my other journal).
I do have something to comment on I suppose. This strip from Unshelved, a comic geared at librarians, actually struck a cord with my common experience. I was sitting alone eating at Wendy's one day and one of the people from behind the counter came out to my table and tried to get me to take an old discarded book from another library. Really! Apparently, someone had left it and it had been sitting in the back for over a year. I didn't take the book, I told him if he wanted to donate it, drop it off when the library was open. Just leave me to be with my cheeseburger guys.
