Game Over...finally
In Super Bowl victory fashion, Obama already has victory t-shirts for sale. That's kindof funny.
Alright, I know some people aren't going to care to hear me say this but, regardless of the fact that I disagree with Obama politically on...a lot. And regardless of how unfair and distasteful the implication that to vote against him somehow indicates racism, the election of an african american man as president is a momentous occasion and an affirmation of the principles of equity the country was built on. No other western nation has elected an ethnic minority as their head of state (to my best knowledge). That it represents something is undeniable.
That out of the way, it's pretty clear that those of us who support free markets, less government, oppose abortion etc., have a tough time coming up. We can't mope and complain. Obama won largely because people were dissatisfied with Republican rule in astonishing numbers, and naturally selected an opposition party. Conservatives are going to have to work to win people's minds, not simply rally our own base. That's a hard truth, and the sooner learned the better.
