I remember doing that for somebody when I worked at a (horrible) catalog company after I graduated high school. She spelled her name for me (Elin, pronounced EE-lin) which happened to be the name of my friend's sister. She was overjoyed about it, saying everyone always called her Ellen and no one ever pronounced her name properly.
The question begs to be asked, how is it pronounced? I've always thought/said MAN-ga (hard g like the first in garage), but only ever read it, so I wouldn't have a clue.
