Vampire Sherlock is indeed cracky. And much fun.
Here are some random prompts (and some may be too obscure): - Sherlock/Newford crossover. I'd particularly love it if John was a student of Ruskin and brought Sherlock to life through his painting. Bonus for evil doppelganger Sherlock! (I totally just started writing this, TAKING IT BACK ;) ) - Sherlock/Buffy the Vampire Slayer. This could go so many ways. I'd kind of like an AU where girl!John is Buffy and has been sidelined by injury, so Faith has to take over. Sherlock is Faith's new watcher. Moriarty is... Angelus? - Sherlock/American Gods. John is Shadow. Sherlock is a new god. Mycroft, of course, is an older one. - Sherlock is a selkie? - Weird fairy tale shit. - A Sherlock/The City & The City crossover would also not go amiss.

"That really isn't how it's supposed to work," Mycroft tells him the first time, because it really isn't how it's supposed to work.
"We don't obey any of the natural laws," Sherlock merely says flippantly, steepling his fingers together and giving the television a thoughtful stare. "There's no need to go about following the undetectable ones too."
--
"We don't create the legends," Mycroft tells him when Sherlock picks up the phone to dial Lestrade. "We just live them. They believe, and we embody."
But that's not true, not really. Not here, not in the city where light pollution makes the stars wink out every night. Not where one muse, one thought, one companion can reach thousands upon thousands of people.
"No, I don't think so," he says, because this isn't the Old World anymore. Because he's never known the world he sees in the others' eyes -- of fear and darkness and monsters in the night. "I think you can change it."
--
"He hasn't got friends.""You can't," he says, but Moriarty -- and Moriarty glows in his mind's eye,

Back to throw more prompts into the abyss: - everything is better with Jeeves & Wooster fusion. - six-year-old me's two favorite things were the Granada version of "A Scandal and Bohemia" and "Hocus Pocus." I'm not exactly sure how those two things would go together but contemplating them amuses me. - Sherlock/Swordspoint, in which John is a swordsman of great skill and Sherlock is a drug-addled scholar. Hijinks ensue. - Sherlock/10th Kingdom. Bonus points for inclusion of trolls. - Sherlock/Discworld. John is Susan?
