Summary: After a close encounter with death, feelings that have remain hidden are finally adressed by John and Sherlock. Inexperienced and insecure, Sherlock relies on John to show him the way, and their relationship blooms. From the beginning, they had agreed to be careful with Sherlock's carrier status, their way of life not fit to raise a child. Besides, having each other is more than enough. When Sherlock does find himself pregnant, it is a shock, for both -even more so when he decides, against all odds, to keep the child. Where to go from there? As John has come to learn, with Sherlock, nothing is ever simple, but he's always up for a challenge, especially if it's to take care and protect the mad genius he loves.¸
