(no subject)
I'm so glad the semester is somewhat close to being over. It went by a lot faster than I expected it to. I already had one of my finals....but the class isn't over yet. lol. It was for my safety and sanitation class and the final is actually to get a ServSafe certificate, so the tests have to be sent somewhere to be graded. So in the mean time we're gonna be doing presentations on our term papers. And I have to do a couple site visits...Not too bad.
I still love my baking class. I finished up with the candy group and the cake group, and now I'm in the bread group. I loved doing cakes. Our two final cakes were a Dr. Suess themed cake and one with flowers and a basket weave design. They were really fun to make.

We got a new dog. He's a beagle mix, we're not too sure what the mix is...it's either jack russell or Cavalier King. Either way he's adorable. His name is Jasper. He's sleeping on my lap as I write....which makes it very difficult to type. lol
I'm leaving in a few days to go to DC and Raleigh for a week. DC...just because we're gonna be on the east coast, and why not, and Raleigh for my cousin's wedding. I'm pretty excited.
Work is pretty much the same. I have 2 shifts that are cakes and one regular shift....I like that deal. I don't have to deal with customers as often. I mostly just have to deal with the freakin mistakes people make when taking cake orders. Still looking for another job though. I think I could handle 2 jobs this summer.
So they finally finished the Family Fitness in Natomas, which is awesome. I've been going 2 or 3 times a week. It's a really nice club. Tons of equipment. Like 3 pools. A rockclimbing wall. Racquetball courts. Hella stuff. I love it.
I might be driving from Maine to California in August with my sister. She got a job in Maine for the summer, and I can't drive there with her cause of school. But I can drive back. I've always wanted to do a cross country road trip....well with anyone other than my parents. lol. I don't think I'd survive that. But I'm excited we've been talking about stops we could make. I think we want to go south and go to Orlando, New Orleans, Austin and Phoenix. So I guess I should be saving money up. lol. I've been trying really hard lately to save my money. I'm not very good at it. lol. Hopefully before the trip happens I'll get my tax rebate....that'll definitely help.
