ABC, in cancelling what appears to all of its current prime time line-up, bagged one of my few TV guilty pleasures: Brothers and Sisters. It was sappy. It was melodramatic. It had pretty people. It had a pretty gay couple. It had Sally Field. It was, in many ways, the family I wanted: dysfunctional, crazy, but always forgiving in the end, who gathered at the family house to apologize and drink.
I'll miss it.
