Some of these have already been rejected.  Time to start circulating theme again!

I am amazed at the number of people use bland, boring titles.  "The Tree,"  "Home," "George," etc.  Sometimes, it can't be helped--perhaps "Redemption" or "Spain" really encompasses the story's themes or symbols.  Or, the publisher will force a title on an author.  But I've often found that it's a lack of imagination.  Your title is a part the ( Read more... )

Apparently, my story "Etiolate"  was in a list of Mindblowing SF by Women and People of Color over at Tor.  I'm pleased to be mentioned among such luminaries!
