Earlier this year I wrote about "Song To The Siren" by This Mortal Coil (originally, Tim Buckley) in an essay that will be published sometime this spring in a book called THE FIRST TIME I HEARD Cocteau Twins, a series on writers and the music they love edited by Scott Heim.
Imagine my (pleasant) surprise that Caitlin Kiernan (aka greygirlbeast)'s novel THE DROWNING GIRL has layered that haunting song in her novel.
