some things we can't control
some things we don't choose
we just try to do our best
and try not to lose
we dont mean to hurt each other
but it's inevitable sometimes
it's wrong to hide our hearts
or manipulate our minds
deep inside we feel sorry
and we don't know what to do
but there's only one rule to live by--
you must always be true
we're all in the same situation
we all feel the same pain
but we can spread a bit of sunshine
through each other's rain
time may bring changes
we learn to live and grow
to heal old hurts--
and new loves sow
that wasn't supposed to turn into a poem-- just did. very raw (unedited). there's more i could say right now, but i think it would just be redundant.
