(no subject)
well since only 2 people commented on my *cough* amazing *cough* last post, i'm not going to bother making this one creative and original. :P
so apparently Reach doesn't happen when I'm not there. Honestly, no one even got the buzzers before I arrived! And I keep telling Chartrand she'll be fine without me...
The acoustics in the hall where we performed in montreal was better than our auditorium in ottawa. (for OYO) so i think it helped the wind/brass fix up their tuning a bit (although one brass part in the capriccio was still bleh). i dont like being mean-- and i'd like to think that usually i'm not-- but we were better than them. and their concertmaster... hahah some of my friends thought she was being too aggressive on her poor violin. (and a lot of people were really surprised to find out she was a girl after seeing her! lol) but what was really strange was the way their conductor conducts.. i'd say it was somewhat mechanical, with a floppy quality to it. i dont know, but very distracting. his hands flopping around with his elbows sticking out-- made me appreciate Gomez. and we watched Wedding Crashers "Uncorked" on the bus lol. it was funny, but there were some SERIOUSLY FREAKY characters in it. lmao.
i still haven't found my chem/bio binder. not good. but the bees movie was so amazing! the dance showed that there were flowers "900m away, at --- degrees from the current position of the sun, etc etc" so amazing!
i slept during most of english today-- we were watching lear. i was exhausted. but then josiah woke me up to talk about pool screenings. arg. i dont think he knew i was trying to sleep tho, since i was facing away from him.
signed up for UCC show today. at least for THAT i'll have a few weeks to practice :P
Shrey was online yesterday-- he never is-- so i spoke to him for like 75min. i had a lot to do, but i miss him, so i sacrificed a bit of sleep for the sake of friendship. he makes mcgill sound SO amazing!
CAN"T WAIT TILL MARCH BREAK. i have SO much to do before that. (even though i have SO much planned for that week, but it's all fun stuff :D )
prestige scholarship applications due next wednesday. eeekksss takes forever to do those write-ups, but i'd love to get through bachelor's without a loan.
for tonight: french presentation memorize + finish commentary-write-up-thing
-cover letter/resume/profile for writers craft.
not too too bad.
goal for tonight: go to bed before 12 (that wokuld be AMAZING. but doubt it will happen)
