married life is swell

Last week was amazing and I hope that all of our days together can come as close if not turn out even better. Sometimes you just have to let go and give in to the freedom of only following your heart and emotions. I surprised the hubby yesterday with a subdued setting with jazz in the background and instructed him to strip down so I could give him a well needed back and pec massage on my professional table. Poor thing didn't even want to get up to have dinner afterward. After resting for about twenty minutes I placed in front of him a delicious meal of tender chicken kabob on top of a personalized goat cheese, fresh basil, and sun-dried tomato stuffing that I created just for him. As a start we had freshly made pot stickers and a unique spinach salad that I threw together. I love watching him clear each and every plate that I set before him. LOL It gives me a very satisfying and accomplished feeling.

Things around the house are coming together and both of us are eagerly anticipating the delivery of our living room furniture. It took forever over a month and walking through over twenty stores to finally find pieces that we both loved and found to be super comfy.

I am still in awe as to how excited I get between the hours of 5-7 p.m. as I peek through the window waiting for him to pull up. It is really hard to control my smile as I watch him step out of the car and work his way toward me, his new wife!! SMILE

I can get use to this. The only thing to remember is that it always takes effort on both of our parts to keep the sparks flying and the passion flowing.

I love my guy.
