I <3 Bartending!
Dear Diary,
So my first night as a bartender is officially over. I continue my training on Wednesday and Friday night and then on Saturday night I have my first shift by myself. Im SO nervous, but not near as nervous after how smoothly everything ran tonight. I was taught a TON of stuff about wine and martinis and liquor in general. I even had many of my own customers tonight! It was a lot of fun to be the bartender for a change and I definately got hit on by a cute boy from Des Moines! Not to mention I made a lot more in tips tonight than I ever did bussing tables, and that was split with my trainer, Mary. I really think I'm gonna like this bartending thing!
Today I watched movies with my buddy Mike, ran into Fridge on the way to work, and received a post on my last message from Caleb. I guess that is a count of 3 people that I know for SURE are in town. I really would like to hang out with some people this week, if anyone is up to it! Please let me know if you are in town and have any free time. I'd love to chill, work out, EAT, study or do whatever with ya!
