Spring Break?
Dear Diary,
I guess I am officially on break, though I hardly feel as though I am. This past weekend, my mom came to Iowa City, so I took her out to dinner, to Hancher and shopping. I think she had a really good time, as she seemed in a pretty chipper mood throughout the entire visit. We were almost going to get her to go to Studio, but she was too tired after the Berkey Retrospective at Hancher to go out. BTW... if you have never seen Ed Rice dance... I highly recommend you do! I've seen him several times, and every time he looks even better!
Starting tomorrow, I am officially training to be a bartender at One Twenty Six. I am a bit nervous, overall, because I have a VERY limited knowledge of alcohol and making drinks in general. Granted, I know a good drink when I taste one (hiccup!), but I really don't want to fuck up someone's drink! I guess that whoever I'm training with will hopefully help me out. Let's hope!
Well, between reading I'm behind in, UISG work I have to attend to, and learning to be a bartender... I'll be suprised if I have any break at all. I really hope that others are having a much more enjoyable break. Be sure to take plenty of pictures so I can look at all of the pretty places you have gone:)
