Chapter Nine

“Did I do this problem right Yoochun?” Junsu passed his notebook over to him so he could review his answer.

“Yep, now do these last two problems and then we can stop for tonight.”

“But I already did over a hundred problems. Can we please stop now?” he begged.

He shook his head, “it’s just two more, it won’t kill you to do them.”

Junsu closed his textbook, “I’m not doing them, I’m going home.”

Yoochun took the book away from him, “no you’re not. Come’ on Su, just these two and I promise you can go.”

“But it’s already 11:30. How am I going to get home?”

“I’ll drive you if you do the problems” he bribed him.

Junsu thought about it for a second, “fine.”

He opened the book back up to the page and copied the problems down. He finished them within five minutes and showed them to Yoochun.

“Good, they’re correct. See, that wasn’t so bad now, was it?”

Junsu yawned, “No” he fell backwards on the bed and closed his eyes. “I think I’ll take a little nap” he yawned again.

“But won’t you get in trouble if you’re not home tonight?”

Junsu shook him off, “no, I’ll just stay here.”

“But Junsu -“

“Shh! Let me sleep!” he whispered to him in a grumpy tone and used his hands as a pillow.

“Junsu you can’t -” Yoochun stopped talking when he realized it was useless to say anything more to him since he wasn’t listening anyways.

“Fine, sleep on my bed then” he made a face at Junsu. “Where am I gonna sleep now?”

Yoochun walked out to the kitchen and opened the closet doors to retrieve two pillows and a blanket. His mom saw what he was doing and asked, “Is Junsu still here?”

He looked at her surprised. “W-What are you talking about, he left a long time ago” he lied knowing that if his mother found out the truth he would’ve been dead by now for disobeying her orders from before.

She looked at him suspiciously, “then where are you going with all that?” she pointed to the contents in his hands.

“I feel cold tonight and I needed more pillows and a blanket to keep me warm” he lied again.

“Fine” she gave up, “it’s late already and I don’t have time to play twenty questions with you” she said walking away from him and into the master bedroom where her husband was waiting for her. “Goodnight Yoochun.”

“Goodnight.”

He walked back to his bedroom and shut the door quietly as to not disturb his parents while their asleep. He covered Junsu with the blanket that was tangled between his legs and leaned down and kissed his forehead, “goodnight Su.”

He laid out his bed on the floor and snuggled underneath his blanket. He felt his heartbeat increasing extremely fast and he got up to take the pills that were lying on his desk. He drank two tablets and then went back to lie down. He put one hand behind his head and the other on his stomach. Yoochun stayed awake looking at the ceiling for hours, and finally fell asleep at 3:47 in the morning.

Junsu shot up from bed the next morning when he noticed he wasn’t Yunho’s bedroom, but in Yoochun’s. He quickly glanced at the time and realized he had at least an hour before school started. He searched the room for Yoochun and found him fast asleep on the floor.

“Hey, Yoochun” Junsu leaned over the bed and shook him gently. He shuffled in his sleep and turned his back to him. Junsu shook him again.

“Yoochun, wake up” he said a bit louder this time.

“Junsu~ be quiet I can’t -“ he stopped what he was saying and widened his eyes.

“I almost forgot you were still here” he whispered as he sat up in his bed. “My mom thinks you went home early last night. I had to lie and tell her you left already.”

“Then why didn't you take me home?” he whispered back.

“You were already asleep.”

“Couldn’t you have carried me to the car?”

“Do I look like I have that kind of strength?”

Junsu pouted, “I’m not that heavy you idiot!”

“Whatever, just go use to bathroom and let’s go. We need to sneak past my mom unless you want me to get into big trouble.”

“Fine” he mumbled and made his way into the bathroom to freshen up.

“That was close” Yoochun breathed a sigh of relief as they were safely at school and away from his parents house.

“Yeah, but you know what’s not fair is that you got to eat breakfast and I didn’t” he grumbled.

“I’m sorry” he said feeling guilty, “I’ll make it up to you. I’ll buy you two lunch trays this afternoon, how about that?”

“Ok” he smiled happily. “Wait, I just remembered I didn’t call home to say I was staying over at you’re house.”

“It’s all taken care of. I called Yunho last night before I went to sleep."

“Really? Thanks.”

“Don’t I get a reward?”

Junsu looked at him surprised, “a reward for what?”

“For letting you sleep on my bed and covering for you at home” he pointed out.

“… Fine” he gave in.

Yoochun pulled him into one of the storage closets and shoved him up against the wall. He pressed his lips eagerly against Junsu’s and deepened their kiss. Yoochun slid his tongue in his mouth, pinning his arms behind his head and kissing him more aggressively.

“Mmh, Yoochun” he moaned in his mouth which turned him on even more.

“Please, don’t talk” he said and moved Junsu from the wall so that he was lying on the heavy metal desk in the room. Yoochun sat on top of him and started unbuttoning his shirt. Junsu held his hands to stop him from what he was doing.

“Yoochun … don’t.“

He kissed Junsu one last time and got off of him. He licked his lips to savior the taste of J as he helped Junsu off the desk.

“I’m sorry, was that going too far?” he asked apologetically.

“No, but are you satisfied now?” he said as he buttoned back up his shirt.

Yoochun had a big smile plastered on his face, “yup.”

Junsu smiled at him, “good.”

The two of them shifted closer together and Yoochun pulled him into a tight embrace. He played with the ends of Junsu’s hair and rubbed his back soothingly. This was how things with them were for the past month. Kissing was as far as they went, and Junsu didn’t have much intention to take it further than that.

He suddenly thought about last night and how he woke up this morning to Yoochun sleeping on the floor. Junsu didn’t remember how he fell asleep or what he said to him, but whatever it was he knew for sure it was something stupid and embarrassing.

“Hey Yoochun?”

“Hmm?”

“Why were you sleeping on the floor in you’re room last night? You could’ve just slept with me on the bed.”

“You don’t think we’re moving too fast?”

He moved away from their hug and shook his head at him, “no, not really.”

“Oh, because that was part of the reason I didn’t sleep on the bed with you.”

“I’m sorry, what?” he asked confused.

“I didn’t sleep near you because I thought you wouldn’t like it. I thought you would say something like I’m a pervert or we’re going too fast or something like that. I guess I was just waiting for you to tell me it’s alright because I don’t want to scare you off again” he admitted.

Junsu looked at him touched and hugged him again.

“You’re really sweet Yoochun, and that’s what I like about you.”

“I respect you Junsu, and I respect this love too. Our love isn’t any ordinary kind of love. We have something special right here” he whispered to him. “I love you.”

Junsu didn’t say it back to him, but instead, he stayed quiet and hugged him tighter around his neck, embedding these endearing moments he spent with Yoochun in his memories for a long, long time.
