Florida doesn't always suck?

I'm in a hotel room in St. Petersburg (other side of FL, on the gulf coast) with my parents (gag). And can you believe it, there is CIVILIZATION here? A real city with a real downtown and things to do! Wow! 
We are here because my dad was keynote speaker at a conference in this (dinkiest ever) hotel and he said we could come. This was supposed to be

well the party was fun despite some weird ppl and some ppl freaking out.
I don't get why you get the idea it was all sketchy, but I don't think even E made out with anyone. (I think some azn guy did with someone tho)

I'm not sure what Steve told you about this event, but it was a joint birthday party for Maggie, Derek, and our friend Jenn. At the peak, about 30 people were in attendance. Of those thirty - not counting the people who live in the house - at least 10 spent some portion of the night.

In my experience anyway, this is pretty standard operating procedure for a large gathering where guests are drinking oftentimes large amounts. We all had our fair share of booze, and since Maggie had figured as much, she was nice and let Steve, Lynne, Brigid, and I have a whole room to ourselves so that we wouldn't have to worry about leaving at any particular time.

Also - I didn't see Steve looking at my sister in any sort of inappropriate way, especially during the sleeping part of the evening.

I'm more concerned about him wearing his bedsheets (what happened to the footy pajamas?) and sitting very close to girls i dont know and allowing photographic evidence of it. luckily for him, my comp had some issues and couldnt load most of the pics so he is safe for now.
