I finally got caught up after all the computer woes and whatnot, and I'm glad I had so many chapters left for me to catch up on. I read them all breathlessly, because this is a fic to my liking! Gods, asshole!Atemu (a guilty pleasure of mine), Jounouchi as a healing God and not as a dumb!goofy!sidekick, interesting survivors of the pantheons, and ofcourse Ryou and Yuugi, all fitting together. Now I have to wait for a new chapter T__T. I was hoping for Mana x Atemu (also a guilty pleasure), but pairings aren't the main ingredient of a fic, it's the whole worldbuilding and interaction between the characters, and you're so good at it. You have a wonderful balance between dialogue, action and exposition that makes the fic a very strong read. I have a few questions (like how Ryou kicked Atemu out of his quarters *g*) but I'm sure the fic will solve everything later on. I'm also glad that Mokuba didn't end up as a figment of Kaiba's imagination! And of course, Honda ♥ I was so sad that he was killed off so soon, but I see he served a higher

I wanted to have a lot of plot twists, but honestly, the Honda one was something I wasn't completely counting on. That one actually surprised me.

The pairings was another surprise on me in this story. I knew going in that it was going to be Bakura/Kaiba, but I wanted the others to be semi-rare pairings too. So Atemu/Mana (yep, that one's actually staying), Jounouchi/Yuugi (not really rare but oddly not as common as I would have thought it would be), Ryou/Mai (I've never seen this one before), and Malik/Amane (ditto on never seeing it before). I didn't want this one to fall into the "everyone's gay" trope, so I decided to have a wee bit of fun... plus it was my chance to play with mythology some
