Summary: Kari’s sick and Davis brings her some soup.

It had taken forever and Davis was drenched.

But it had been worth it.

Kari was sick with the flu, so he decided to make her some ramen to help her feel better. He was going to open his own noodle stand one day, and his work showed if he did say so himself….

Anyway, halfway to Kari’s house it started to rain cats and dogs. But that didn’t damper his mood, Kari would love his soup and then he would be one step closer to winning the girl’s heart.

Davis knocked on the door and a moment later, Tai answered.

“Davis, you’re drenched,” Tai said, inviting Davis in.

Davis smiled at his idol, “I thought I’d bring some ramen over to help Kari get better.”

“I’ll make sure to give it to her,” Tai said, eyeing the bowl of soup.

“No way,” Davis said. “Last time I gave some to you to give you Kari, you ate it.”

“You just want to get closer to my sister,” Tai muttered.

Okay that was true, but he really wanted Kari to get the soup.

“How about this,” Tai said. “You can bring it to her, but I’ll be with you in the room the whole time.”

That’s not what Davis wanted, but he could take what he could get. “Okay.”

So off they went into Kari and Tai’s room.

Kari was sitting on her bed, reading Harry Potter.

“Hey Kari,” Davis said, “I brought you some ramen. I know your parents were out and your brother can’t cook very well”

Kari smiled, “that was really nice.”

Brownie points!

Davis walked up to Kari and handed her the bowl. Then he grabbed the chopsticks from his shirt pocket and gave that to her.

“You think of everything,” Kari said and yawned.

Davis blushed as Kari began to eat.

“How is it?” Davis asked after a moment.

“It’s great,” Kari said happily. “I wish my mom could cook like this.”

“It was nothing.” Davis said.

“It was really nice of you to think of me.” Kari said,

Davis smiled, “I will always think of you.”
