Running late for an appointment with Death.

Gingetsu's fingers brushed across Ran's flushed face.

"It's been more than five years," Ran said abruptly as Gingetu's fingers moved down his jaw.

"I know," Gingetsu said. His voice was steady but Ran felt his fingers twitch slightly against his face.

Ran grabbed Gingetsu's wrist in both of his hands and moved it down to his chest to where his heart was beating more swiftly than normal. He watched intently, a small smile appearing on his face, as Gingetsu slowly relaxed as he his heart thumped gently against Gingetsu's hand.

"You should sleep," Gingetsu said as his fingers spread out across Ran's chest.

"I know," Ran said.
