“So...I guess this is it.”
A shy smile appears on her face, as she nods in agreement, her head making that cute little bopping gesture. “Yeap.”
He places his left palm against the doorframe and shifts his weight from one foot the other anxiously. “I had fun tonight.”
“Me too,” she grins, clasping her hands together and quickly tears off her gaze as soon as he made eye contact. Honestly, he finds that cute. He finds her adorable beyond words. But she has to help him out here, because he is a complete nervous wreck on how to end the night on a smooth note.
“Can we...” he laughs nervously as soon as she looks up at him expectantly. “Uh...can we do this again, another time maybe?”
Two little dimples appear on either side of her cheeks as she gives him a pleased smile.
“Of course. I’d love to.”
“Okay,” he chuckles, trying to ease off the tension in the air. “I’ll see you soon then. Um, goodnight.”
She lowers her head slightly. “Goodnight.”
She starts to turn around slowly, just about to close the door, when he suddenly slam his palm against the door causing her to widen her eyes in surprise.
“Wh - “
Before he could totally lose it and change his mind for good, he leans in close and gently set his lips on hers, with very much delicacy and tenderness. He doesn’t want to come off as being too eager or pushy, but he does wants to leave her with something memorable as a commemoration for their first date.
Because he has a feeling, there would be many more dates to come in the future.
After about 5 seconds long, he slowly pulls away and tries to ignore his sudden racing heart. Her expression is unreadable, as she simply stares at him in shock, lips parted slightly.
He hopes with all his might that it is a good sign.
“Goodnight.”

I love her.
I’ve loved her ever since the day we met. I’ve loved her ever since the day we started working together. She, as the beautiful aspiring model and I, as the soulful photographer.
I’ve loved her ever since my camera captured her first dazzling smile. I’ve loved her ever since she blew a light kiss towards my camera and winked, before bursting into a fit of giggles.
I’ve loved her ever since I heard her first laugh. I’ve loved her ever since I heard her melodious voice humming a soft, sweet tune. The soft, sweet tune which accompanies me to sleep every night since then.
I’ve loved her ever since she spoke her first ‘Hello’ to me. I love how she’s so humble and down-to-earth to everyone around her, even though she has every right not to speak to me even.
She’s a butterfly, who flew to me like magic.
I love her, my beautiful butterfly.

The moment he spoke the first hello, she was already intrigued.
Perhaps it was because of his deep, dreamy voice which sounded so foreign and unique to her - even though they actually speak the same language. Or perhaps it was because of how he had casually slithered his way toward her, without so much of a squeak of the heel.
“Hello.”
She turned because it was quite the obvious there wasn’t anyone else at the bus stop - except for the two of them.
Still, her voice was unsure when she replied, “Yes?”
“Do you have an umbrella?” he asked, lips forming a full smile which was almost teasing.
Jieun had been taught to never speak a word to strangers, especially those she doesn’t trust - but this man, her gut feeling told her that she could actually let her guard down. Crazy.
But true.
Was it because of his deep-set eyes? How they seem to be dark and mysterious, yet so full of life at the same time? Or how they seem to sparkle under the street lamps dim light?
“I...don’t,” she replied hesitantly, before carefully asking. “Why? Do you need one?”
“Nah,” he shook his head slightly, the smile never leaving his sharp chiselled face. “But you may need it.”
Her two brows furrowed in confusion. “But why? The sky’s clear. It doesn’t look like it’s going to rain anytime soon.”
At this, he scooted a little closer and leaned in towards her. He dropped his voice to a whisper, as though sharing with her a sacred secret.
“Don’t tell anyone - but I’m physic. And I’m telling you, it’s going to rain soon.”
Jieun’s eyes widened in surprise. “For real?”
He sat up straight once again and tapped his right temple. “It’s all in here. I can see it all happening.”
She looked up at the clear, dusk sky once again. There wasn’t a single indication that a downpour was about to happen soon enough. But still, the stranger next to her was nodding his head in all seriousness and well; she was the one who decided that she could trust him.
“I need to get home fast then,” she finally answered and got up on her two feet. “Better take a cab home. Thanks for the warning by the way.”
She gave him a warm, thankful smile before starting to walk away slowly.
Jieun resisted the urge to turn around when she was already about five feet away. She wanted to look at him for one last time, but didn’t want to appear off as too eager or interested.
She is, after all - a woman.
“Hey, miss?”
That was all it took for her to stop in her tracks and glanced over her shoulder oh-so-ever-casually.
“You don’t actually believe it, do you?”
Again, he confused her.
“You have such a pretty face, I don’t have the heart.”
What is he talking about?
He grinned, “April fools’.”
