Crock Pot Pizza Soup - (2 bags each contains)
½ (15 ounce) (or 1 8oz) can tomato sauce
½ (6 ounce) can tomato paste
½ tablespoon ground oregano
¾ teaspoons dried minced garlic
½ teaspoon ground paprika
1.5 jars of water
½ green bell pepper
1/2 onion, chopped
½ cup sliced mushrooms
½ can tomatoes
½ cooked Italian sausage
½ cup sliced pepperoni
1 t basil
½ T dried oregano
BAG IT!
-1/2 to 1/3 cup of dried pasta cooked after the rest is done and added.
This wasn’t bad at all. I will make the following changes for next time. I forgot the water. It tried to burn again and was saved by the roommate. It was on low this time. I think a quart of water or stock would be helpful. I would want to add a full 15 ounce can of tomatoes to each bag. The spices were perfect, for us. I didn’t add pasta to this. We did garnish with some shredded Italian blend cheese I had. I think next time I will serve it with garlic toast. I didn’t cut the pepperoni into quarters. I would recommend that or buying the mini pepperoni.
