Things of eeee!

I can have Bitchinparty registration! :D :D :D (so very, very excited. And this time there will be hardly any freaking out about travelling half way around the world (alone) to stay in a hotel with people that I've NEVER MET BEFORE, because travelling is fun and fangirls are AWESOME)

Also, I went to Rocky Horror last night.

This is quite sedate, although I should probably mention that I wasn't actually wearing the tuxedo jacket much and, when I was it was kind of, uh, longer than the whole rest of my outfit so I actually looked as if I was wearing less (although I definitely was fully clothed compared to some other members of the audience. Rowr)

Minus the tux:

The whole (aha) enchilada:

The show itself (as ever) was hysterical, and the ad libbing was particularly fantastic. The Narrator was played by Ainsley Harriot (yes, the chef), who is, um, disturbingly hot in a smoking jacket? Also, after the whole first act Narrator-heckling involving shouts of 'ready, steady, cook!' he came out after the intermission with packets of his branded cous-cous and was throwing them at the worst offenders in the crowd ♥

After the show, we went dancing in Eddie's (as is becoming tradition). The usual DJ was off sick and the dude they had subbing...well. I now know why it's a running joke that he's not normally allowed near the decks. In places the music choices and segues were so epically bad that they went right out the far side of Do Not Want and right back into LOL territory. That being said, there is never any need for a thrash-techno reinterpretation of Kid Rock (especially when the song is question is already a crappy rip-off of a much better song by people with actual TALENT). NEVER.

And now I am tired and achy and a little bit hung over.

\o/, yay, omg, picture post, rocky horror
