DBBC just released Nille Glaesel's "Viking: Dress, Clothing, Klaer, Garment." I saw a copy on Wednesday, but only briefly scanned it. Anyone out there in LJ-land willing to offer up a review?

My initial impression was a lack of scholarship (no footnotes, few primary visual sources) but that may have been just the pages I was looking at.

First, a quick weekend update. Had a lovely, low-key visit with Moira_Ramsay, vitrarius and duchess_letitia. HH Mists was sick, so we rescheduled his fitting for Crown. The Doublet of Doom is DONE. Done, done, done, done, done. ( DOOM )
