Tomorrow is MxPx day! They're playing an in-store at the Northgate Splatters to celebrate the release of a fancypants limited edition of Let It Happen. When I found this out and realized that I'd actually be able to attend (if Dean lets me off work just a smidge early, of course), I mused, "Wouldn't it be cool if I had an Unlovables shirt to wear to the show?" But I didn't.
UNTIL NOW.

Not damn bad for my first stencil! Thanks to Mike Fireball of course for not only designing the logo, but sending me a nice hi-res version to make the stencil from. If I can get a picture tomorrow of me in this shirt with Mike Herrera...I will die a happy little girl.

This photo also showcases my awesome new hair, because today was productive like woah. I had a doctor's appointment in the morning, which could have killed the whole day because the bus ride is nearly 2 hours each way. However, when I got back to Seattle I hit up the new thrift store on the Ave (to get the aforeshown yellow t-shirt), and bought some kitty supplies at Petco. I came home and found that I had a Great Clips coupon for a $5 haircut, so I walked to the one in U Village and got a trim. Perhaps the best haircut:money ratio I have ever experienced...well, not counting when Evelyn cut my hair. Nevermind. Still, good, cheap haircut.
Then I walked to U Village proper and went to Bartells, where I acquired a new bath poof and a new shade of hair dye I'd never seen before (the photo sucks and my hair isn't even as awesome as the picture on the cover, but it was pratically PURPLE. So awesome). After going to QFC to get stuff for dinner, I walked home, made dinner, made my shirt, and dyed my hair. And all before 10pm!

Seriously, I can't remember the last time I got so much stuff done so quickly. I also rewatched some episodes of the Woodsongs Old Time Radio Hour, and made this lj post.

Shazam!

Also, some amusing photos for your...er...amusement?

The hair color I bought for Halloween that sucked. But god, the name!

Yes, it is.
