bored as stuff
So, I've been pretty miserably sick for the last two days. This results in me sitting in bed, being bored, for long stretches of time. I have read one romance novel, watched several episodes of the Young Ones, calculated my ecological footprint, played with Flickr, and re-read essays I wrote for school (some of them are sort of good).
I was futzing around with itunes and recalled a meme I saw a while ago, where you posted how many songs on your playlist contain certain words, like love or death or whatever. I can't be bothered to actually find this meme, but I'm going to play it anyway, with a bunch of random words that come to mind.
I still don't have ALL my mp3s from my old computer on my laptop, mind. And I don't rip all of my CDs to my computer. And I am searching "all," which includes songs, albums, artists, etc.
Total: 1631 songs
"love": 73 songs (I actually searched "lov" to include "loving" and "lovable" etc)
"death": 18 songs
"dead": 18 songs. weird!
"punk": 14 (not including genre)
"want": 15 songs
"sex": 3 songs
"boy": 35 songs
"girl": 35 songs. weird again!
"pain": 15 songs
"sleep": 13 songs
"damn": 4 songs
"fuck": 5 songs
"America": 5 songs
God, I'm bored.
Edit: I just went through and labeled all the cover songs (BORED), so now I know I have 49 cover songs (that I am aware of, there may be more that I missed) (and only two each are from Me First or the Goldfinger cover album, although I do have the entire Madness cover album in there)
