I AM DONE.

I am finally done with school!
Well, for now anyway. But I have finished my associate's degree at BCC. I feel quite accomplished.
My Chem final today was brutal: she did two questions on empirical formulas, which were never on a section test so I didn't study it. But I'm passing the class; my guess would be a C, in light of the final. But I got a perfect score on my oral presentation in English, so I may actually be looking at an A for that one!
Erin kept calling my cell during the final, I couldn't figure out why. When I finally finished and I trudged out the door of the classroom, dejected, I heard Erin say, "So how bad was it?" She came to school, picked me up, and took me to Red Robin.
Have I mentioned before that I have the best roommate in the state of Washington?

My bear called while I was in my final, but by the time I got out and got his tearful voicemail, he was in bed.
Dear universe,
Please never make me in class or at work or any such thing where I am unable to answer the phone when any of my friends needs me. kthx.
love,
Sarah
I am worried. I worry, it is my job. That is why all of my friends call me Whiskers.

Recap time! Last Sunday was Erin's birthday, so I took the whole day off. We slept in, and I made scones for breakfast. David came down from Bellingham and joined us for dim sum for lunch. We went shopping around a bit in the U District, then hit up Goodwill where I got a pair of fantastic shoes for 4 bucks. We also found a kids' button machine called The Badge Factory for 5 bucks. The thing makes 1.25" buttons and had all the parts, so we took a gamble. We hit up Broadway for more shopping and wandering, then came back to the house and were joined by Charla, one of Erin's friends from school. We talked, listened to music, ate, (they) drank, played guitars and made buttons. The thing works like a champ, I made one that says "I tip buskers" and two from Craig Thompson artwork. We had a marvelous time, Charla is totally rad and it was great to see David again.

Tomorrow is the first day of the rest of my life. I hope.
