I take a break from being a responsible adult to squee about skating.
This is Adam Rippon:
Remember the times when he had baby-fat and couldn't land a triple axel? Well, these times are apparently over, but that smile can still make the whole arena squeal when he flashes it while skating and his lutz with both arms raised above his head is just becoming sexier and sexier.
Adam should go a little easy on the fake tan, imho, but other than that, he's still my favorite out of the American boys out there. I would love to see him skate live again at some point. (I'd squeal like a fangirl, too.)
Now I can't wait to see if he actually attempts (and lands) the quad lutz in the free skate.
I love it when my baby skaters grow up to be all sparkly and beautiful and amazing. Like Denis Ten, too.
