I kind of hate the sorority girls right now, because oh, Claire probably would have kissed Gretchen back if they hadn't chosen that moment to interfere. :(
Remember that boy who could... what was it? Fly? Breathe underwater? I forget, but his name was Zach. Claire and him had no chemistry and when he'd wanted to kiss her that first time, she's like "You know, I'm not really" - into boys? ;)
It would be too nice to be true to have Claire turn out gay, though, so I suppose the TV-people will get rid of poor Gretchen by some clever plot-twist (preferably involving involuntary death).
