I have listened to the Assholes Downstairs (that is my official name for them now) giggle and talk and shout for two nights in a row now, last night the birds were already chirping outside and they were still awake, being noisy. I hear them even with my earplugs in; I wonder where the sharp hearing comes from, because normally, I am quite deaf. Now there's some loud beats as well, if they do not stop by the time I go to sleep, I will jump up and down to make their ceiling vibrate and make them realize that some people want to sleep.
I woke up earlier than I had even planned and, even though I wanted nothing more than to fall back asleep, I forced myself to get up and go to meet my Finance team so we could continue working on our exam case study. I was actually the one who had already finished writing my part, so I had every right to come later. French girl had said she'd be there at 8 or 8:30. When I got there at 8:50, I was the first one there. French girl arrived at about 9:15, German boy arrived at 9:30, German girl at... 10?
I could bitch about many things, but we got the work finished, and hopefully won't fail.
I got home, then later went to mail some of my stuff home and to the bank to finish closing my account, then I basked in the sun a bit and read, I also watched Heroes and GG...
I was exhausted most of the afternoon, but I decided to go to the rink, anyway. Tell you something funny. I always skate in gloves, but sometimes my hands get too warm and I take them off. (I need to buy those thin, velvet gloves.) I feel much more... unprotected? without the gloves. It's ridiculous, but it is so. XD But at the same time, when I take off the gloves, I feel more graceful? And my hands instantly come to life, heh. Remember those vids of myself dancing that I'd once posted? (Embarrassing, yes, but not as embarrassing as JWe's singing.) Lena had pointed out to me that she likes what I do with my hands and I've realized that I -always- do lots of stuff with my hands when I dance/move... Just not when I skate. Because I wear gloves. I know it doesn't make any sense, but... My hands just want to mooove.
As for the skating itself, counters/brackets were SO much fun, the rest was fine but nothing memorable.
