Pretty thing.

This is part two of "Reet & Lucy go dancing to a gay club":

Pretty Thing

"I've never seen so many pretty men in my life!" I laugh as we stroll around the dancefloor. "And I've been to figure skating events!"

They're all around - beautiful boys in make-up and glitter, boys with pants so tight and hips so slim they'd make Taylor Hanson jealous, men in drag…

"Yeah. It's like in the ZOO, though. You can look, but you can't touch," she winks at me, smiling.

"I don't care. I have my own pretty thing with me," I stop to look at her and lift her hand to my lips, dropping a kiss onto her palm.

A few random facts about me: I love the fresh out of the shower feeling. I love bathrobes, especially if they're white and fluffy. And my favorite color of towels is also white. With that said, the following pictures might seem a little less crazy to you.
Last night, I decided that it would be fun to take pictures in the bathroom...

I had fun. :D

I discovered a rather cool special program for university graduates today. (Or my mom discovered it and told me about it.) It's co-financed by the DAAD and it's an 18-month program in Japan. You spend 9 months studying Japanese in Tokio and then work for a Japanese (or international) company for the following 9 months as an intern. I got sort of excited about that because I've always wanted to learn Japanese and go to Japan and I was totally going to apply now and then hope they will accept me into the program this year, so that I could move to Japan in September. But then I found out that it won't be possible, as the applicants have to come to a special interview and then - if they're accepted into the program - go through a preparation course in July/August in Germany. I'm not going to be here at that time, so I can't really apply now. But I'll remember this and maybe try after I'm done with my Master studies, which might be even better, because I'm not even sure if graduates with a Bachelor degree can apply. Wouldn't it be amazing to live in Tokio for a year and a half? (Yes it would!)

Reet sent me a text message concerning The Sims and the gay household she's currently playing with. It made me giggle and so I stole my brother's CD with The Sims on it, installed the game, tried playing for a while... I think I might enjoy it after getting through the initial phase, but I'm not sure if I really want to spend that much time playing it. The only computer game I've ever played and been fairly decent at is Heroes of Might and Magic III: Restoration of Erathia. I don't play it regularly, but when I start a game of this, I can waste hours playing it.

I still need to write the highly supportive and loving and encouraging letter to Johnny Weir that I've been planning to write since GPF. I know what I want to say, but I don't know how. There are so many things and I don't quite know how to put them together. Maybe I'll just make a card for him and try to sum up everything in one sentence, which I will write inside the card. Speaking of Johnny... Have you seen this?

That's Maxim Trankov (2007 Russian champ in Pairs) and Johnny Weir. Lola just sent the pic to me and I think it's insanely cute! :)

Oh and - I agree with everybody and I'm majorly infuriated by the unprofessional and stupid Johnny-bashing by the US-media. Shame on you, commentators! I now hope more than ever that Johnny wins the US Nationals. Because I certainly want to see the prima-ballerina with a gold medal this year!

PS: shinyeyemakeup, I got your card today! :D It made me giggle! Thank you! <3
