Persona and Final Fantasy

Dec 10, 2017 19:21

First, basic things about me.

I am fine with doing one main character each, doubling, or even more than that. I’m open to leaving some side characters ‘free to use’ by either party, or having each character only controlled by one or the other of us.  I’m fine with m/m or m/f. Only done f/f a couple times. I set my hard limits by yours. How much I post depends on the post itself. I like to give at least a paragraph per character, any time an idea is being introduced or something it tends to be longer. It is often shorter during heavy action to give better reply chances. If that makes sense.

I have several ideas for Final Fantasy 15, as well as for Persona. As for the Persona, I’ve played 5, but I’ve read about and watched playthroughs of 3 and 4.

I’m open to playing canon/canon, oc/canon or oc/oc. Though in these two fandoms I have a lot of characters I like.

On to the ideas…

With Final Fantasy 15, what if Ardyn’s target was not the royalty, but was the astrals? I have a mini backstory I’ve written for him and an additional enemy I’ve added - Ifrit’s cult. It would be interesting to see what would happen if the 4 guys were tossed back in time and got to see just what happened to Ardyn in the first place. Or if they found records of what happened somewhere. In this idea King Regis wouldn’t be dead, but he’d be in a deep coma… similar to an Odin’s sleep. I actually have a google doc written with my version of Ardyn’s history, for this.

Persona 5 :  As I mentioned I’ve played 5, but not the others. I think it would be fun to add more characters to the crew, as well as more palaces. A possible redemption for Goro Akechi, with Goro himself having a palace… and a twin.

Second idea- same as the first, but add in a ‘time loop’ that is occurring. They would be on the third or forth time loop, so far things going the same as they have all the other times. But this time, the other phantom thieves remember things a lot faster. Or Akira talks to Akechi sooner, and they finally start changing things.  The loop can tie in to persona 3, and the seal that they had to place. Perhaps that seal is coming undone, and a certain rogue attendant is making the time loop happen in hopes of getting this current group to help restore those who were sacrificed into the seal…? Or something else is causing the time loop entirely.

Final Fantasy 15 / Persona series crossover.  What if daemons are actually shadows that are powerful enough to take form in the ‘normal’ realm? What if Ardyn can be redeemed, but he has a palace larger then mementos in Persona 5? What if Akechi and Ardyn are working together? Shido is part of Ifrit’s cult that is trying to take everything over? What if the phantom thieves discover that they can use their persona in the ‘real world’, if they need to?

For this one I think that the main city in Persona 5 would be easily placed where Lestalium is. Japan as a whole could be that city, and the land north of there. So Kyoto and other cities from the Persona games could easily be placed in that area. Noctis and company could run into Akira and his group, after King Regis is knocked into a coma, or killed (whatever we decide). When they compare notes they’d see there are two battles going on, that are intertwining… and they have to take on both issues, to bring peace… go from there. Or Akira and the group gets a request to change Ravus Nox Fleuret’s heart and they manage it. The prince and company find out, and proceed to go check on the man. Wanting to understand what happened. There are many ways that could go.

I have also played FInal Fantasy 10, 10-2, 12, 13 (and its sequals). I am open to any of those, or doing a crazy crossover.
Pokemon is also an interest, though I've played the games, not seen the anime.
Star Wars and Star Trek are fun, too. Though I don't know the canon all that in depth...

Any of the above can be crossed over somehow or done in an au.  I can stick to canon if you want, but I find it more fun to base it off canon and go from there. Let the story go where it goes.

Of course, I’m always open to hearing any ideas you may have! Hope to hear back from you.
