Hmm, I think I'm falling out of love with this show.
Can't quite put my finger on the Why. Maybe it's because it no longer feels transgressive and tongue-in-cheek?
I was impressed with the guest stars, and the premise was always interesting enough, but I still found the past few episodes dull; illogical too.
Also, I can't quite warm up to Clara. To me the companion is supposed to be the common earth girl or person, the one real and solid anchor in all the fantasy. With Amelia Pond they departed from that principle, but at least Rory always felt real, in spite of his centurion story. Clara feels unreal, and therefore the show no longer feels real-ish either. Does that make sense?
So, I want to enjoy the show, but somehow I no longer do. Well, I'll check out what you guys have to say in your posts. Maybe you know why....
