Oh, John Sheppard. Well, as I posited in the scholarly discussion on this topic, I do think it's all in the spine.
And even if I didn't wonder holy crap, how are his hips and head pointing straight forward while his shoulders are going sideways like that, and even if I *weren't* thinking sexy thoughts about the implications thereof, I would still envy him the strength and flexibility, because man. Sometimes it's all I can do to turn my head all the way to the left. I have never, ever been flexible. Strong, yes. Flexible, oh no.
I wonder if it's because of his military training? Oh, John Sheppard, did they make you head-shoulders-knees-and-toes? Or is it that you do sports a ridiculous amount and are careful about the stretching before all that running and jumping and leaping over things? Do you do secret Athosian Yoga Wednesday with Teyla and Ronon, quiet peaceful Wednesdays that drive you nuts. Because as you strain, trembling, to stretch and loosen, you're watching your two gorgeous best friends in tension and release, smiles going back and forth, and suddenly you're trying to hide a massive hard-on in your ultra-thin yoga pants?
Does Teyla give your chubby a smirk and drag you down to the gym pad while Ronon forces you into the Athosian Plow, a big ol' shark grin on his face? Because now they've got you where they want you, all sweaty and stretched out and with absolutely no plausible deniability?
