recs: prepare to lose your afternoon

And this, oh this had me amused: I've got your tax mandate right *here*; or, "President Obama Wins Eight of the Ten Wealthiest Counties in the Nation."
I have so much to say on that score, how people who earn a lot of money obviously understand Reaganomics (as re-implemented by Pres. Bush) don't work and are killing the economy, and how a couple of bad billionaires don't spoil the bunch. But the numbers really speak for themselves, don't they? Especially the fact President Obama won by 63 percent to Romney's 36 percent in the richest county in Gov. Romney's own home state. Yow. Of course, in Marin, just over the bridge from me, it was 74% to 23%. Hee.
ETA: adding to the link round-up with this wonderful bit by Jon Stewart, oh man. The American Experiment is alive and well.
