My first full week at the new job
I miss my old trainer, Johnny. And after having worked for mega-corporations, it's hard to adjust to learning the ropes at a mom-and-pop kind of business. Nothing is standardized. There is no training manual nor regulated process. I dislike the thrown-into-the-pool method of learning to swim. Nobody explains to me the why or the how, or sometimes, not even what result is desired. Such vagueness drives me crazy. I miss my old trainer.
Lots of fun things this week, including Jim Parsons, famous halal cart, Thursday small group, and Iron Man 2. I've got Borders and BN coupons to use up too, so next week, I hope to update my meme with a lot. Unfortunately, it will be somewhat of a rote exercise, as entertainment this week was on the poor side. I'm still sulking.
