Dr. Pookie and I joined one of her colleagues from Tartan Hall at an ArtBites event. It was an enjoyable evening, but not so amazing that I'd consider a do-over. now in aluminum cans

One of the wine clubs goofed, and sent a shipment to both my home address and my work address. I got the work shipment, and the winery called me to say that, due to the error, if I sign for the one delivered to my home, I can keep it at no charge. Or one of you enterprising lot can sit on my doorstep and sign for free wine and run away.

Dr. Pookie and I flew up to the Bay Area Saturday morning. We also had my mom along. This was something of a great event, as Mom had not flown for more than a decade.
