I just found out that my friend from Hamilton draws pictures for NCEA papers... like for the English ...language papers.
Not normal English Level 1, 2 and 3... but you know how when international students come over to study in New Zealand and they have to learn English? Or those English-as-a-first-language-students who fail so dramatically, they have to take this subject.
He's like 17 years old.
Right, on Thursday, I nearly died three no, four times while I drove to St John. People kept trying to smash their car into me. I freaked for about two of them and then I was like meh. Then on Friday, I went to the city with S.H.E Freak and we had fun at the University of Auckland. (I called to ask how to withdraw from something I accepted and they told me to go in and see the faculty.) We went in and we checked the map outside the clock tower. When we got to the Arts place, there was this piece of paper stuck to the door telling us to go to the Human Sciences department LOL. Since we didn't know how to read a map where it was and we couldn't be fucked, we ended up walking around and then going to the Commerce area. We went into the Fisher and Paykel Appliances Auditorium... teh whut? The F&PAA or whatever and our brain nearly exploded when we tried to make sense of the map. We finally did after we wandered around and my friend saw the ASB Bank thing and she got excited.
We lingered there for a while and then we were like OK, LET'S GO TO THE OFFICE THINGER. We went down the stairs again and round the corner. At the desk, there was a sign that told us to go back to the place beside the ASB Bank. LOL. We were so blind. =_= we went in and we mucked around for a while before I finally sucked it up and went and asked. The guy at the counter told me to just forget about it and leave it alone if I haven't enrolled for any courses yet. "If you leave it alone for long enough, it'll go away. Hopefully."
D= so we left. And we walked around the city. We had Subways for lunch (thank god she knows what SHE wants to eat, otherwise we'd walk around the city for like three hours like
herbotron and I do. Then I realised my own Black Friday had come earlier by a day this February. D= Since I nearly died thrice on Thursday.
We walked around some more, orgasmed over the books in Borders, Whitcoulls and Dymocks. Then we went separate ways and went home (after I bought Eclipse. =_= I feel like I owe it to SOMEONE to read it all.)
At home, I found out that AUT has finally spat out my timetable - and it's lulzy for semester two. There is a clash. Seriously. I can't make this shit up.
A few hours later, I nearly freaked out and died right there because I spent all day thinking Saturday was actually Friday and I had forgotten about a management meeting on Saturday. I managed to get there though. It was raining. After it, I went to Borders (yes, alone) at Sylvia Park and read for two hours. I left and bought frozen coke from McDonald's. I'm going to hell.
Today, I went to help clean up my friend's place. There were heaps of people who turned up. Yeah, we do this for kicks. Srsly. Half way through, four of us went from Pakuranga all the way to Manukau (to another person's home) to pick up some cords. It was a very dangerous but exciting journey. Firstly - our driver was the youngest person. Secondly, the person who was giving directions didn't actually KNOW where we were going. At one point, we crossed three lanes in an attempt to turn left at the last second.
We got there, got the shit and then ate green tea flavoured ice cream. The journey back, I decided I should be the one to give directions. Oh and the car we used was one of my dad's old shitty cars. It's older than three out of four of us. We had a blast and nearly died a further couple of times.
We did indeed get back safely and in one piece not too sure I can say the same thing about the car.... I had a quick lunch (Read: half the amount and dumped the rest on my dad) and my dad and I went to Sylvia Park. =3 I made my dad buy Breaking Dawn for me.
