*giggles* Dear, I say the same thing to myself all the time. But I don't use it as a tool to get myself depressed. Instead, I laugh hysterically every time I hear it.

Why? Because the message it's sending is so true - Yet, in order to be happy, we need to succeed in our own little world. We need to just fuck the rest of the world and win in ours.

As you well know, life, on the whole, is completely pointless. So I view it as a flower - just a plant that's there for no real reason. If you neglect life and take in only the reality of it without giving it another thought, you get drowned in negativity and the flower wilts. However, if you nourish it, pushing for the best path to travel, seeking out life's potential, the flower blooms into something stunning and gorgeous.

EVERYONE has that potential to turn something so pointless into something meaningful for himself, something that is filled with successes and joy. Tell me Matt, what is the point of living seventy years by the purely negative side of that philosophy? If you make the best of your blip of a time here, you will be happy. You will be amazed at how inanely beautiful life truly is.
