Pretty Things
I have gone and stolen a meme which fellow person of class astrokittie posted on her journal. Tweaking this to my whims because my luck with people responding when prompted to do so has been a crapshoot in times past. I was more interested in the aspect of this that lets folks know my tastes, anyhow:
1. I have picked 6 female and 6 male celebs I find attractive.
2. Every day, I will make a poll and you'll have to Vote for the one girl and one guy you find the LEAST attractive (not so much who you LIKE, but who you find hot.)
3. After 24 hours, the poll will be closed and The man and woman with the most votes will be disqualified. There will then be a new poll (if enough people respond to this) with the remaining contestants.
4. After six days,Whenever I feel like it, there will be two winners!
In no particular order...
1. Hugh Laurie
He can examine me anytime.
2. Chris Colfer
I think I've spoken of my feelings for my future husband enough that y'all don't need me to gush any further.
3. Edgar Wright
Charm, brains and a cutie to boot- what more could you want?
4. Keir Gilchrist
I wanna hold him and pet him and squeeze him.
5. Nicholas Hoult
Pretty.
6. Robert Downey Jr.
Stay classy, Bobby.
1. Christina Ricci
A little uncanny valley, but I like the shot.
2. Kristen Bell
Not usually a fan of blondes, but she is a welcome exception.
3. Jenna Fischer
Only picture I considered using.
4. Kat Dennings
She's what Meghan Fox might have looked like if she were actually attractive.
5. Miracle Laurie
Most aptly named girl I know.
6. Thora Birch
Yum.
Aaaand with all the nothing going on in my life, might as well mention some media that has been taken in... got caught up on the US releases of Berserk. At the rate the story's going, I feel like Miura wants to go for a yarn that might take a good 'nother decade to crank out. And damn if it won't be worth it.
All caught up with Sons of Anarchy. Hot damn am I glad there's only another week until season 3 starts- threw out my original plan of only watching 1 ep a day a couple days ago. Never would have guessed something like this would be so addictive, but damn if this isn't one of the finer programs currently airing. Damn shame no one in Hollywood wants to recognize that.
And today I saw The Other Guys- hilarious action flick. Adam McKay and Will Ferrell just need to keep making movies until they're both cranky old men. At which point they should preferably start making movies about cranky old men.
