Genetics in HP
As expected, Remus and Tonks got a cub, Teddy. Now what surprises me is that he's not a werewolf. Either his parents were lucky or I read too many fanfics with such a plot.
If we imagine that werewolf-ness (I like words in -ness) is caused by the mutation of a gene, then it must mean that Teddy has it as a recessive gene. If we consider that Bill got it too, but in a latent state, it means that his daughter, Victoire, could have it too.
So we come to that:
Ok, I guess my whole demonstration only prooves that *I* wanted Remus and Tonks to have a pink werewolf as a baby. Anyway I imagine Ted and Victoire's baby to be a girl, animagus but red-headed anyway, 'cause of the Weasley gene. It doesn't matter if it makes her look more like a werefox than like a werewolf.

Awww. (Yes, her head looks like a potato, but isn't she awww-inducing all the same?)
It seems to be usual to give babies their dead grandparents' names in the hP world, so I guess that poor thing will be called Nymphadora. She'll hate it, of course.
